Nestled in the beautiful Wye Valley village of Whitney on Wye, 5 miles from the famous literary town of Hay on Wye, is the charming 'Agent's Office' bed and breakfast. The Agent's Office is a stylish self contained studio apartment with private entrance. The apartment has a grand double height ceiling with fantastic tall arched sash windows, stripped wood flooring and original red herringbone tiles. The wardrobe was originally a huge walk in safe and the beautifully crafted safe drawers and cupboards have not been touched since they were built 100 years ago. The apartment contains double bed, smart kitchenette (with hob, fridge, sink etc), cosy armchairs and flat screen tv, dvd player and set top box. In addition there is a gorgeous cast iron log burner for the chillier evenings stocked with logs and kindling. The luxurious shower room also doesn't disappoint! Our locally produced breakfast hampers are very popular (see the visitors book when you come and please comment yourself). Use is encouraged of the owner's large garden, and we are about 30 seconds walk from the village pub! As stated the room consists of one double bed and an additional single bed and/or travel cot are available upon request. Tarriff - from £40 per person per night. Offers often available for mid week and/or longer stays. Please note: if you are staying on a bed and breakfast basis (since the apt is self catering) we will provide you with a sumptuous breakfast hamper - we have lots of compliments on the standards of our breakfasts!! - with local free range ingredients at every possible opportunity which you can prepare at your leisure.
