Ellangowan is a beautiful Victorian Villa situated in the quiet residential area of Lower Oakfield in the lovely Highland Holiday town of Pitlochry in Perthshire. With only a short walk to Pitlochry town centre you shall find great shops, excellent restaurants, and the lovely Victorian quality of the town. Also within walking distance you shall find the River Tummel and Loch Faskally with Pitlochry’s famous dam and salmon ladder and our internationally renowned festival theatre, known as the ‘Theatre in the Hills’ <br /><br /> Bedrooms: We have three lovely spacious bedrooms very tastefully furnished. 2 double rooms and 1 twin, all are able to take an extra bed or travel cot which we can supply. All rooms are en-suite with bath, shower, WC and wash hand basin and lovely toiletries. <br /><br /> Breakfast is served in our light morning room with views over the garden to the Cluniemore hills. We use fresh local ingredients so the menu changes with the season. <br /><br /> Tourist Information: The Blair Athol Distillery, one of Scotland’s oldest, and the Edradour Distillery is Scotland’s smallest. Blair Castle, Scone Palace, the home of Lord and Lady Mansfield, Glamis Castle home of our late Queen Mother and Balmoral, the highland Home of the Queen are all near by.
