Your enjoyment of New Zealand's natural environment can begin under an hour from Auckland Airport. Lone Kauri Lodge Karekare is located in the heart of the Waitakere Ranges, an area of exceptional natural beauty where you will find black sand surf beaches, regenerating forest, walking tracks, waterfalls, stunning sceney and not too many people - an alternative to the city where you can relax. Our guest accommodation is connected to but separate from our part of the property and has its own entrance. It comprises two well appointed bedrooms each with ensuite shower and toilet, one with queen bed and the other with king or twin king singles. For an extra person we have a comfortable roll out bed which fits in the king room. We have a portable cot which will fit in either room. The guest accommodation also includes a spacious guest lounge with Sky TV, DVD, CD Player, a selection of games and books and a fridge. Complimentary wireless internet is also available for guest use. Room rates include continental breakfast A cooked breakfast can be provided for a small additional charge.
