Tourist Information: Kirkby Lonsdale is a small historic market town in the Lune valley with good restaurants and pubs. The whole area being on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and a short drive from the Lake District, making it ideal for sight-seeing, walking and cycling. For the more adventurous there is also caving and pot-holing in the vicinity.
