Gurney Manor Mill origins from a 15th Century Watermill with attached barns and farm buildings. It has been sympathetically restored by its owners, providing delightful Bed and Breakfast Accommodation, uniquely designed with vaulted beamed ceilings, rustic walls and plank floors whilst retaining many of its original features, including the Waterwheel and mill machinery. <br /><br /> Rooms: The accommodation consists of 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 family rooms, a twin room , and a double room. The quality en-suite bathrooms are of modern design with bold colour schemes and tiled floors. The floors are warm to touch having individually controlled under floor heating , so you can set the temperature to suit yourselves. All the rooms have a remote controlled Freeview colour T.V. , a trouser press , along with tea and coffee making facilities, wireless connections to broadband, so you can surf the internet from your room. The rooms are on the ground floor with their own private entrances. <br /><br /> Local Information: The village of Cannington lies between the Quantock Hills and the sea, some 3 miles from Bridgwater. To the West lies Exmoor and the North Devon coast, and to the East are the Somerset Levels, Glastonbury and Wells. The village has five Pubs , three of which have excellent restaurants, there is a Cafe, a Post Office, a Hairdressers and shops. The village has a Countryside Visitors Centre , where you can play pitch and putt or croquet. There is a full size 9 hole Golf course and an all weather Floodlit Driving Range. The village has a walled Heritage Garden with tea room and is an ideal starting place for walking the River Parrett Trail.
