Old Church Cottages are in peaceful countryside, close to Hadrian’s Wall and Hexham. Converted to provide three unique and spacious self-catering holiday cottages each has its own off-road parking space. Each cottage provides the self-catering guest with a comfortable four star holiday home from home. Within the stone buildings the self-catering cottages have been renovated to a high standard, retaining many of the buildings' original features. The holiday cottages are full of character, are individual and are fully equipped, having well fitted kitchens and oil-fired central heating. They come provided with all bed linen and towels. <br/><br/> Kirkend is the largest holiday cottage and it offers comfortable accommodation for 4/5 people in a double room, twin room and a sleeping gallery. The living room has plenty of seating, a six- seater dining table and a log burning stove. <br/><br/> Lonnenend self-catering cottage offers welcoming accommodation for 4 people in a double room & a twin room with a spacious parquet floored living/dining room and a kitchen whose room divider is the original pulpit. <br/><br/> The Stable accommodates two people in a large studio cottage. It has a double bed, comfortable easy chairs. <br/><br/> The holiday cottages are six miles north of Hexham and only two miles from Hadrian's Wall.
