Kenilworth is a grand 4 star Victorian Guest House built in 1896, centrally located in the town of Windermere. Under our ownership all rooms have been completely refurbished and redecorated to provide warm and welcoming bed and breakfast accommodation. An ideal base for your stay in the Lake district.

All of our bedrooms are en-suite, and we offer king-size double, double, twin, family and single bedrooms. All of the bedrooms have flat screen digital colour TV, (with DAB radio), fluffy towels, hairdryer, alarm clock, refreshment tray and wineglasses. Our single bedroom also has its own DVD player.

All rooms are centrally-heated and fully double-glazed. Our hearty breakfasts include locally made Cumberland sausage and free-range eggs delivered from the local farm, with vegetarian alternatives (meat and non-meat products are cooked and served separately). In addition there is a selection of cereals to choose from, grapefruit, fruit juice, fresh toast and a plentiful supply of tea, coffee and herbal infusions.

We have a spacious ground floor lounge for guests to use, with colour TV and DVD player with a selection of DVD's to borrow, and a wide selection of maps and local guide books to help plan your visit to the Lake District.

We have some private off-road parking and there is free parking on Holly Road as well. We are only 6-7 minute walk from the bus and train station. With or without your own transport, Kenilworth Guest House is ideally placed for exploring the Lake District.

Non-smoking throughout, and minimum age for children is 4 years.
