Well run, low cost and centrally located within walking distance to the city and its many restaurants and bars, Flower Street Villa is convenient to everywhere. It nestles peacefully below Table Mountain, in exclusive Oranjezicht on the border of Gardens. Flower Street Villa is clean, central, and secure with lots of off street parking (11 cars) in our courtyard - if you wish to hire a car.

The Villa is just a stones throw away from the Garden’s shopping mall which included banks, supermarkets, restaurants and several fashionable boutiques. We are within a ten minute drive of most places of interest such as the Stadium, V&A Waterfront, Cable Car and Camps Bay & Clifton’s world class beaches.

All our beds are King size with 100% cotton sheets and towels and our rooms are equipped with safe, TV, fan and hairdryer. Twin beds will be made up on request.

Our premises are secure with plenty of off street parking. There is also a huge fully equipped self catering kitchen for your use with fridges, freezers, cookers, microwaves, plates, cutlery etc.

This residence is deeply steeped in the history of South Africa. In the 1770’s it was one of the ten most conspicuous large manors of Cape Town. It was owned and occupied by the Commandant of the Castle, General Robert J. Gordon, who discovered and mapped a good part of South Africa. He discovered and also named our great river, the Orange (after the Prince of Orange), Plettenberg Bay (after Governor Von Plettenberg). Gordon’s Bay was named after him.

At Flower Street Villa you are only a few minutes from the Cable Car, Waterfront, Camps Bay and Clifton beaches.
