Llanthony valley is an unspoiled mystical valley between Abergavenny and Hereford. Set in a peaceful and secluded spot in the beautiful black mountains, Which are part of the Brecon Beacons. A place you always wish to return to time and time again. Where wild pony’s run free with the sheep on the hills, where buzzards keep an eye on you from way up in the clouds. A place where you wish time could stand still and sometimes does. A place for Walking, Pony trekking visiting the Abbey or just enjoying the countryside. We have outstanding walks on the door step. Just off the Offas Dyke and Beacons way footpaths. Just on the border of England and Wales. We also are a walk away from Abergavenny train station and back (10 miles) or catch the bus half way (6 miles) so you can escape from the city life for the weekend many do. We will even supply you with a packed lunch for the return walk.
