Bed and breakfast house set in two acres of gardens with pool and views over the vines and forest in the middle vineyards in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region. Situated in the small hamlet of Montignac, close to the wine regions of St Emilion, Sauternes, Graves, Pomerol etc
Easily accessible by Bordeaux International and Bergerac Airports.
The house has one very large bedroom with tea and coffee facilities and private bathroom. The other guest accommodation is in a restored 'pigeonniere' and consists of bedroom, a salon, a small kitchen - with fridge, small hob, microwave - a separate wash hand basin leading to a toilet and shower.
Continental breakfast is served on the terrace or in the dinning room. Evening meals are available, with 24 hours notice, a typical French 4 course meal with a bottle of wine per couple costs 22 Euros per head.
The price per room is for two people and includes continental breakfast.
Local attractions:
1. Bordeaux is a magnificent Cathedral city with stunning architecture. Visit museums, antique shops and markets and reasonably priced restaurants.
2. Libourne on the banks of the Dordogne with 3 markets per week.
3. St Emilion with its reputation for wines.
4. Langon, La Réole, Cadillac, Sauterne are smaller towns With interesting places to visit and different wines.
