Church Cottage Alastair Sawday recommended bed and breakfast located in the centre of this unspoilt Polden Hill village. Beautifully restored 400 yr old stone cottage with 2 en-suite double rooms. Located adjacent to the church and benefits from their beautifully maintained grounds and enormous cedar trees. The cottage has flag stoned floors, wood burning stoves, Aga and a wealth of old beams. The cottage has a well stocked garden and is approached via a garden room off the kitchen. Drinks are provided on arrival. Room rates include a proper breakfast. There are reductions for longer stays.
The cottage provides double bed en-suite accommodation with bath and power shower.
The Potting Shed provides double bed en-suite accommodation with power shower in a converted stone outbuilding located in a well maintained private garden, over looked by a 1400c church.
Local tourist destinations include Glastonbury and Wells. Good for walks, garden visits and wonderful local produce.
